MAA Dragon Fruit, Pitaya Seed  (100 per packet)

Dragon Fruit also known as Pitaya, Dragon fruit grows on cactus plants which love warm, humid climates and needs very little water. They are subtropical plants which need at least six hours of sunlight per day. They will also grow well in a warm and sunny spot indoors. Dragon fruit needs full sun, so choose a sunny area in your garden or a sunny windowsill that gets at least six hours of sunlight a day. they are rich in in nutrients and low in calories. Dragom fruit may be grown in warm and humid environments. A deep yellow-brown loamy soil that is well-drained and fertile is ideal for farming. Dragon Fruit are a unique fruit resembling a teardrop. They're about the size of various fruits, filled with hundreds of tiny seeds. The fruit is commonly eaten fresh or is canned. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes. After preparing the soil, insert the seeds into the prepared to half (0.5) inch of depth. While watering, care needs to be taken to only sprinkling water through a sprinkler or manually using your hands, do not use pipe or a mug to water for the first week, as the force of water might damage the seed germination process. Once the seeds grow in to seedlings, say Maaund 3 inches, then you may transplant the seedlings to various pots or desired areas. The sapling needs to be checked at regular intervals to ensure it is not infected by any weed/pest or insect and if you find any such thing on the leaves or in soil then you may spray Organic Pesticides like Neem Oil on it. The nursery bed has to be prepared finely by adding farm yard manure & sand. grooves of 0.5 cm deep have to be made and sow the seed 0.5 cm apart and cover it with thin layer of soil. Spraying the water timely the seedlings will be ready for transplanting. Add urea to the soil for removal of insects and make soil clean and fresh for Home garden and also mix soil with coco peat and Vermi compost for better result in growing plant. DO's: Put seeds 0.5 inch depth inside the soil and add water or spray slowly and timely such that seeds does not come out the soil. can be use all Season, If you using Vermi Composit and Coco peat then result are Good. Dont's: Seeds not to keep more than 1 inch inside the soil. Note: If sowing seeds indoors, transplant the seedlings to the sunny garden spot when they are several inches tall. Happy Gardening..!!
