The poetry collection, “Madhurima”, composed by the Chhayavadi poet, Dr. Tara Singh, is wonderfully rich and expressive. There is a cultural tinge of deep feeling and romance in its poetic language. There is no doubt that Dr. Tara is adept at recognizing the essence of language brevity and reflective ability. The inner tingling of feelings in her poems shakes the heart and mind. With the feeling of compassion and the touch of the word, word for word speaks. All the poems stored in Madhurima are filled with the buzz of significance. Dr. Tara's poems are an attempt to shape the identity of human society, passing through the inner rhythm of tradition and modernity, which give a greater meaning to the struggle of human life. In these works, I have seen, an attempt has been made to take life-useful elements from both the physical and spiritual philosophies, abandoning the one-sided view of matter-consciousness, on the plane of broad active harmony, to create a whole humanity, which for today's new age, it is a paramount necessity. Apart from the philosophy of life, the other things that have attracted the attention of the author are the sighs of a compulsive man, crushed under the feet of poverty, which just fills the reader's mind with poignancy and sentimentality. This collection of poems composed by the author is an excellent literature, exposing social evils and inequalities through her poems.
