Uttarakhand Urdu Journalist's and Writer's Committee Award, 2006. "Sarvashrestha Geetkar" Award (Best Lyricist) for Kumauni Film "Cheli" -2012 (songs sung by Hindi playback singer Sadhna Sargam). By Dwarahaat Sanskritik Samiti, 2013. As 'Gazal Shahzadi' of U.P., 1999. By Girls Government Inter College, Haldwani, 2014. By Modern Utopian Society, 2011. By Uttarakhand Bal Vikas Evam Bal Sahitya Shodh Sansthan Nyas, 2012. And many more. As a director, writer, singer and composer many of her albums and films have been released. She is also active as an editor, referee and poet for different national and international journals, magazines and books in distinct languages such as English, Hindi and Kumauni. Born and brought at Nainital, presently she teaches English Literature at the University Campus of Kumaun University at Almora (Uttarakhand).
