About Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai was born in 1997 in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. She has lived through overwhelming changes in her country, a nation which has been unfortunately transformed from a once peaceful land to a hot bed of terrorism. Malala, who now lives in Birmingham, England, asserts that she has been given a second life. She also says that she aims to devote it to the good of the people, and her ardent belief that all girls, everywhere, deserve education.
