Maleficent  (Blu-ray English)

Sometimes, villains aren’t as bad as you think they are. Sometimes, you have to side with the opposition to conquer another, more dire, threat. Maleficent is an action-adventure fantasy film that’s directed by Robert Stromberg and stars Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning (Dakota Fanning’s younger sister), Sharlto Copley and Sam Riley. Based on Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, Maleficent re-renders the classic tale from the perspective of Maleficent, the main antagonist. The plot of this movie follows Maleficent, a once good-natured fairy, who, after being betrayed by a man, places a curse on the latter’s newborn daughter only to find out that the girl holds the key to subduing the war between the human and forest kingdoms.
