Malgudi Days -A must watch for the current generation.

I grew up watching this serial in DoorDarshan in the 90's. These series gives us a lot of moral values and also the way to lead a simple life. I would suggest this as a must watch for the kids of current generation who mostly lack the simplicity of our times. Malgudi days is a very well directed and well written master piece by Shankar Nag and R.K.Laxman.
I still feel nostalgic about the good old days while I watch Malgudi Days. :)

Fairly Good

I love stories, be it in the form of writing, telling or watching. And for a person like me Malgudi days is a bless. The package has around 18 VCD in a good pack. The only problem I faced was the VCD is not played in any player. It is played only in Roxio. Else the quality is fairly good.

MUST BUY THIS COLLECTION

TODAY I GOT IT. THERE ARE 18 VCDS IN THE BOX AS SPECIFIED IN THE DESCRIPTION. TESTED ALL 18 VCDS THEY ARE ALL IN GOOD CONDITION.PICTURE QUALITY IS CLEAR BUT IT SEEMED TO BE A BIT PIXELATED(very MINOR) ON MY 32" LED TV. BUT THAT MINOR PIXELATION IS OK FOR SUCH AN OLD SERIES. IT IS A MUST HAVE ITEM FOR EVERY ONE.
AND ABOUT MALGUDI DAYS I THINK EVERY INDIAN KNOWN WHAT IS IT SO I WOULDN'T BE SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Fabulous. A must have.

Ordered it last night, got it today! How fast is that?!!
Good to see the series in colour which I had watched on Doordarshan in B&W almost 25 years back. Still fun to watch. The video resolution looks just fine on TV but it may not be all that great on some of the media players on PC. Buying the DVD set may be a better option if you planning to watch on PC or in HD. The simplistic nature of the content doesn;t call for HD though.

Nostalgic !

Nostalgic and awesome ! Nice packing,prompt delivery.... overall good experience !
The print is somehow a bit grainy,does become conspicuous if you are viewing on a large screen.
