The author graduated in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Bhopal in 1980 and completed his Merchant Navy Pre-Sea Training from MERI Mumbai in 1983. He began his sea career as Junior Engineer with The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. and spent over two decades at sea, serving as Chief Engineer for more than a decade with Indian and foreign shipping companies.
Later, he transitioned to academia, joining the International Maritime Institute in Greater Noida, where he has been teaching for over 17 years. He has also authored a book on Marine Auxiliary Systems and Deck Machinery and actively shares his knowledge through his YouTube Channel, Marine Engineering Tutorials.
