About the Album Jagjit Singh - The Master & His Magic is a collection of nine incredible ghazals from the ghazal king, Jagjit Singh. This album enables ghazal fans to listen to some of the finest ghazals from Jagjit. This album contains one audio CD with all ghazals sung in Hindi and Urdu. Jao Ab Subha Hone Wali Hai and Rone Se Aur Ishq Mein Bebaak Ho Gaye are the highlights of this album. Along with Ro Lete To Achha Hota and Woh Firaaq. All the ghazals have been composed by Jagjit himself. This album contains some of the unreleased tracks from the maestro and all the ghazals of this album have been selected by Jagjit’s wife - the equally famous ghazal singer, Chitra Singh. The ghazals of this album have been collected from over a span of two decades and contain the classic poetry of Mirza Ghalib, Bashir Badr and Farag Roohvi. Sony DADC released Jagjit Singh - The Master & His Magic in one audio-CD in 2012. About The Artist Jagjit Singh is an artist that was applauded for his beautiful compositions and unique style of singing ghazals. He has given his voice to several albums, TV programs and Bollywood movies. His songs from the movies Arth and Saath Saath are considered to be largest-selling combination albums from HMV. Sung along with Lata Mangeshkar, his album Sajda - An Offering, released in 1991, got him another round of unmatched success. Jagjit was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Indian government, for his rich musical contribution to the field of ghazals.
