I bought this book with great expectations, as a fledgling financial analyst I felt that a book teaching financial modeling was long overdue. I wouldnt say the book is completely useless and not worth buying, it has some merits (as we discuss below). But a book which purports to make financial modeling easier (guide) ironically makes it complicated.

Infact if there is star less than zero it would be appropriate.Claims to be excel 2007 support.hardly any except for some brief info on excel 2007 in the end.this guy is trying to sell his excel financial templates through this book.i expected a detailed hand holding process that leads me to make a simple financial model myself using excel.that has simply not happened.you cannot go beyond 6 pages in this book.
