Mastering Web Application Development with AngularJS (English, Paperback, Kozlowski Pawel)
Unlock the world of the Internet through Angular JS, taught by experts in the book Mastering Web Application Development with AngularJS.
Summary of the Book
This book details the AngularJS philosophy and explains how it can be used for real life development tasks. An open-source JS framework, the goal of AngularJS is to develop MVC-based web applications and to reduce the amount of Javascript used to make web applications functional. This book takes readers through the basics and explains how to build an AngularJS app, learning different interaction points between design and development along the way. Also readers will learn how to use AngularJS DOM-based templating effectively and learn how it differs from other frameworks, how to query and change data across various back ends, how to create complex web forms, using the two-way data binding efficiently. Also, readers will learn about the HTML5 History API and about managing dependencies with the AngularJS module and the Dependency Injection systems. By the end of the reading, readers will be able to independently build widgets, validators and wrap 3rd party plugins and use the Jasmine BDD testing framework to unit test AngularJS-specific JavaScript code. AngularJS is based on the principles of a meaningful and flexible directory structure and most importantly, organized coding, which is what the authors set out to inculcate.
