Destroyed my preconceptions of graphic novels
I was surprised and happy to see that both these volumes came in a pretty cool box set.
Now, about the book. This is a holocaust account unlike any I've read. The illustrations add so much more meaning to simple text. Even though it's been a while since I read it, there are scenes from it that keep coming back to me. Its simplicity of style accentuates and underlines the horrors of the holocaust. It should be a compulsory reading in schools.
