    The A4988 is a popular and easy to use Stepper Motor Driver module that can be used to control the speed and direction of a stepper motor. The module is based on A4988 Driver IC and has a built-in translator which makes it easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino. The module can be used to drive bipolar stepper motors in Full, Half, Quarter, Eighth or sixteenth step Modes. The module has a wide operating voltage from 8V to 35V and can deliver up to 2A with use of a heatsink which will be provided along with this module. Without a heatsink, the module can deliver up to 1A. The module also features adjustable current limiting, overcurrent and overtemperature protection.
