Translated as ‘My Struggle’ in English, Mein Kampf is the provocative autobiography of Adolf Hitler. The work unabashedly flaunts his extreme ideologies, unique philosophies and the baffling persona of the man who was responsible for one of the most horrendous genocides in all of human history.
Summary of the Book
Adolf Hitler lays bare his perplexing personality to the world in his autobiographical work, bravely undoing the emergence of a man who was the main reason behind the Holocaust from once being an artist. His childhood days were disturbed and the ensuing events during and after the First World War made Hitler become ferociously get involved in socialist political groups. He was also imprisoned during one of the futile efforts against the authority of the Bavarian government. It was in the prison that he chronicled a personal manifesto. It was replete with intolerable opinions against communism and Jewish people. This later fuelled his apocalyptic ideas of the massive genocide and fascination for the Aryan supremacy. Hitler records in this account, his spitefully grand plan of summoning up Europe and establishing Germany as its decisive leader. The inevitable implications of certain incidents that followed made him a doughty dictator. The fact that Mein Kampf is regarded one of the most controversial autobiographies ever written itself might seem like a reason for its fame.
About Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler is arguably one of the most controversial personalities for the damage he caused to the sentiments of an entire generation. His rise as the head of the National Socialist German Workers Party after a series of events in his life that was mainly influenced by socialism and abhorrence against communism culminated in him becoming a fanatical leader and ultimately a megalomaniac killer of Jews. The wretched consequences of the First World War on Germany influenced Hitler even more to stick to his fervent nationalism ideas, resulting in the foundation of the Nazi Party. Remembered for humanity’s greatest genocidal incident, the Holocaust, Hitler’s irrational ideologies and policies further aggravated the outcome of the World War II. He died in 1945 in Berlin which eventually marked the end of a scandalous chapter in the history of the world.
