Dr. Brian Weiss is an American psychiatrist.

He has written books like Mirrors Of Time, Same Soul, Many Bodies, Only Love Is Real, Through Time Into Healing, and Many Lives, Many Masters.

His writing focuses on concepts like past-life regression and future-life progression, survival of the human soul after death, and reincarnation.

Dr. Weiss was born as Brian Leslie Weiss on November 6, 1944, in New York, United States. He earned a degree in medicine from the Yale University School of Medicine and went on to complete an internship in internal medicine from the University of New York Medical Center. He then returned to Yale University and completed a two-year residency in psychiatry. In 1980, one of his patients started revealing past life experiences under the influence of hypnosis. Weiss’ life and career took a dramatic turn when his subsequent research convinced him of the existence of reincarnation. He began to advocate and adopt past-life regression as part of his therapy sessions. He regularly writes and speaks on the subject of reincarnation. He is the Chairman Emeritus of the Department of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Weiss lives in Miami, Florida with his wife, Carole.
