Captain Vartul Dixit (B.Sc-First Class, PGDHR, Master FG) Associate Professor, Indian Maritime University, Chennai Campus joined at sea career in the year 1993 as Trainee Nautical Officer. Captain Dixit has written many research journals and other marine-related journals, which got published in International Journals. In Year 2001, Captain Vartul Dixit cleared Master-FG examination from MMD/DG Shipping in India. Prior to joining teaching and training he commanded many Foreign going vessels as Captain of the ship.
