Good book for intermediate microeconomics
It is a good book for MA level. The chapter on mathematical concepts is well written and a must read before proceeding further. Concepts are clearly explained in simple language but the author doesn't shun from using calculus as and when required.

Great Book - Do not buy it for MA
Great book for refreshing concepts and analytical problems (which makes it ideal for entrance tests), this is not a MA level book. While certain MA level mathematical techniques are discussed, the book largely omits the questions of existence, uniqueness etc that characterize graduate micro. Making it a book target towards undergrads, albeit high level ones.
