The One-Step HCV Test is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of HCV in human blood serum or plasma. When specimen is added to sample pad, it moves through the conjugate pad and mobilizes anti-hcv conjugate that is coated on the conjugate pad. The mixture moves along the membrane by capillary action and reacts with anti-hcv antibody that is coated on the test region. If hcv is present, the result is the formation of a pink or purple colored band in the test region. If there is no hcvin the sample the T Band area will remain colorless. The sample continues to move to the control area and forms a pink or purple colored band, indicating the test is working and the result is valid. test immediately after opening the foil. Directions for test: 1) Place the device on flat clean dry surface 2) add 1 drop of Wholeblood and 2 drop buffer 3) Wait for 10 minutes for Clear Band. 4) Discard after 15 minutes. 5) Test with HIV HBSAG HCV SYPHI for complete STI Testing.
