Mindsight  (English, Paperback, Siegel Daniel J.)

Mindsight by Dr Daniel Siegel is an excellent inspirational book for Self help as well understanding others. The narration is very simple , the concepts are are explained through case studies which makes it easier to co-relate and thus assimilate the relevance of the point being discussed. Concepts on Mindfulness, breathing exercises etc are very useful and can be easily practiced. Thanks to Dr. Daniel Seigel for such wonderful book.
This book makes a Wonderful gift to our near and dear ones...

First the cons - The book is loong and printed with smaller fonts (relatively) - so there is a lot to read
Now the Pros - Despite being long read, the book is nevertheless extremely interesting and lucid. The book is divided in sections and the third section is all about different stories from Dan's experience which exemplify the concepts outlined in the previous sections.
