Mon Amour (VCD Bengali)

The flm revolves around an evening when three estranged and confused lovers gather around a wine party. Rajarshi(Saheb) and Brishti(Rituparna) madly loved each other but due to some bizarre misunderstandings they part ways(Brishti Marries Jeet) and meet after seven long years in that evening when rajarshi invites Jeet and Brishti over a glass of wine. The evening remains murky and rainy associated with thunderstorms. With wine all the three characters recapitulate buried emotions and misunderstandings unspoken amongs them for the past seven years. While Rajarshi discovers that Brishti still loves him, Jeet discovers that he had only been a pawn in this war of emotions and egos. Rajarshi has become a filmmaker par excellence while Jeet is a successful entrepreneur. Brishti has turned to an english teacher. While Rajarshi comes back to India from U.S.A. after seven years with the vision of making a film, in reality he plans to venture his subtle layers of emotions which has been starving with the memories of Brishti all this years. The film which he plans to make is based on Rabindranath Tagore's 'Shesher Kobita' and is titled Mon Amour: My Love. This film brings the unhappy couple (Brishti and Jeet) to Rajarshi's pavilion. But what begins as a reunion ends as a tragic postmortem of buried griefs, grudge, sorrow and frustrations. Thefilm ends with the close of the evening as the three protagonists reinvent themselves.
