Mud, Sweat and Tears is the intriguing and enthralling autobiography of world famous adventurer, Bear Grylls.

    Summary of the Book

Mud, Sweat and Tears is the extraordinary life story of one of the world’s most fearless young explorers, Bear Grylls, who has always sought the ultimate in adventure. The book chronicles his life, from his childhood days on a remote island in Britain’s windswept coast to the sailing and climbing lessons his father taught him as a kid. As a teenager in college, Bear was very inclined towards mountaineering and martial arts. His passion for the outdoors led him to the foothills of Himalayas and to a karate grandmaster’s training camp in Japan. Returning home, Bear went through a rigorous and grueling selection course for the British Special Forces to join the elite Special Air Service Unit 21 SAS. Unfortunately, he met with a horrific parachuting accident which broke his back broken in three places. The doctors speculated that he would never be able to walk again, but eighteen months later at the age of twenty-three, Bear became the youngest climber to scale the Everest. Gripping, moving and exhilarating, Mud, Sweat and Tears will make for an invigorating read for adrenaline junkies.

Easy and simple read. You will love to read it for sure if you are an adventure enthusiast or Bear fan. And yes you will come to know that 'bear' is his nick name and not his original one.
The SAS training and the expedition to Everest is just amazing.
