Excellent story
Its a good book by agatha christie but the introduction is too boring. I almsot felt like throwing it away when Poirot made a stunning entry. But one with less patience will certainly throw the book. Needs a more thrilling Beginning.

Just About Average!!
This is one of those books which start very promisingly but falter towards the end.
A very rude line, the above. However, that is exactly how I felt. This book was a strong reminder of "The Murder on Orient Express", which was a genius btw. Though the story starts explosively and moves at a reasonably fast pace, with all the characterization in the correct place; one would expect the climax to be more 'reasonable'.
However, the climax, when it came, was kind of disappointing. Atleast to me...

Great Story, Poor paper quality.
The story is very good. But this specific edition of book by HarperCollins for sale in India has very poor paper quality, thin brown paper. You don't need light at the back of the paper to see whats printed backside, it visible naturally as its that thin. Though I enjoyed the book story wise, sometimes when there was even a fint light in the back it became a great eye strain to read.

The book is a beautiful read.There is not doubt that she has a Shakespearen form of writing.Apart from this, "Murderer on the Orient Express" is a must read too.
