    Author Info
    • I am Dr Arati Kumari Thakur, Assistant Professor in English, SCS, Jain-deemed-to-be University with 18 years of teaching experience. As a research scholar, I am interested in delving deeply into different ideas relating to mythology, psychology, archetypal psychology, science fiction and comparative mythology. I love transforming ideas and applying different methodology like monomyth, autofiction and topoanalysis into a full-fledged project. I am interested in works of Joseph Campbell, James Hillman, Henry Corbin, Jonathan Young, Clarissa Pinkola Estes and many more. Joseph Campbell’s monomyth theory speaks of hero’s journey and how we actually are a hero playing our roles in this larger cosmos. Other than being a lifetime research scholar and teacher, I love writing poetry and stories. I am also a birder who connects with nature through birding and bird photography.
