The novel "Nevla" (The Mongoose), written by Vedvyas Mishra, presents a fierce character—Mangus Mama (Uncle Mongoose)—to highlight that the root cause of crime lies in the lack of willpower to properly uphold moral, judicial, and political systems, along with unnecessary interference in these systems. The author suggests that if these structures are tightened and streamlined, crime can certainly be curbed. Even the terrifying criminal Mangus Mama was once a good and admirable human being. However, he fell victim to a corrupt system, which dragged him deep into the world of crime. It is the duty of every citizen to support the right individuals and to ignite the spirit of patriotism from wherever they are, regardless of their situation. By doing so, today’s youth and unemployed individuals can be prevented from falling into the trap of crime. This social and literary novel, "Nevla", is dedicated to the Education Department. The author wishes for it to be included in the high school curriculum so that it can help foster a sense of patriotism among students. This novel is certainly a must-read for all readers!
