mostly about successful Medium enterprises

The book is good although I have read only 10%. I bought this after seeing an ad in Mint(owned by HT Media) newspaper in June-July 2012 being a regular reader since Oct 2010. The book is priced right. If you like non-fiction and wish to start a business or gain knowledge about how enterprises are started, you should read this book. Don't be surprised by the pages of the book being made of recycled paper and hence priced cheap. I support recycled stuff. Long live the book and I hope it should ...

Not much helpful

i fancied about being an entrepreneur and found this book online..
bought it with the hope that some strategies, some plans, something useful will be there for a beginner like me..
nah.. just full of stories thats all.. not so useful..
3 out of 5 and that too for timely delivery and excellent product condition

The books covers some great topics and has some important tips for every business personal, ranging from software to farms.
The only problem being it covers entrepreneurs only from the southern part of india

No depth, just breadth

I started to read the book, to garner some inspiration. The USP of the book, about entrepreneurs, from different areas and walks of life.
when i started reading there are lot of things which didnt work for:
1. the agenda of getting this book out, seemed very different to me. It came out as if, this book was written to glorify a section of people from a certain geography and may be launched during some type of trade show.
2. The writings are too vague. no disrespect, but they have some of the ...

not in deep.. very very short.. you inspire by the stories but will not know the actual path they follow to achieve them.. rashmi bansal's stay hungry stay foolish and i have a dream is far more better and in detail..

Fairly superficial collection of entrepreneurial stories

While the collection of entrepreneurs is interesting, there is no rhyme or reason as to why they have been chosen. Further, the stories covered are fairly shallow in nature. Liked Rashmi Bansals books on this topic to be far better.

I will say a great book that summarizes the story of great entrepreneurs. How do they reach to such tremendous heights. What hurdles they face and how they come. Some of them are, Panicker, Galla founder of(Amara Raja Battery), founder of DQ entertainment, etc. They write their story of founding these companies.
