Masterpiece - gripping and gets better for its short story

I have always in awe of Jeffrey Archer for his magnificient spell bouding story telling but I must admit i get intimidated by fat books. Time is a rare commodity in our busy routines and losing connect with the story for want of time is the worst thing to happen. Voila! the short stories scores a perfect ten here. Just like once in a blue moon - this proved to be my adeqaute and brilliant meal to suffice the appetite for sheer great story reading spanning the vast multitude of experience jeff...

Amazing Collection Of beautifully crafted stories

Its is a collection of well written of short stories that move at a thunderous pace. The combination of romance, history, suspense all combined with the sense of humour makes it book, which could be enjoyed story by story rather than at one go.
There is no generic list of key characteristics but a combination of nicely written twisty tales.

    Masterful

The book is written by a master and it was delivered by a master too. :)

Way better than any of the glorified crap that we Indian readers have come to expect and relish from cheap authors like Chetan Bhagat and Durjoy Datta.

You don't need 2020 pages or a long ambiguous title to score a winner.

You also do it like Archer

    sigh.. just brilliant

well.. I simply loved this book.. I did not have any story book of Jeffrey and this version has three of them compiled in one.

About the stories: don't have words to describe the brilliant mind that this author has got. Earlier I admired him for what he wrote but now.. now i truly respect him. Haven't come across any author who can provide so much depth and complexity in simple (yes, complex yet simple) short stories.

A MUST READ..!! GEM FOR A COLLECTION..!!!!!!

    Good stuff

Value for money. Makes interesting read if u dont have time and energy to read a big novel.Quick, humorous entertainment. However i found the book cover a bit of a drab..Though few stories are repeated but not all. Its good value for money for those who havent read these earlier stories before.
