initially you feel dryness in throat and you start getting hiccups. so the trick is just chew little and keep it in between gums and cheeks. sometimes one may have addiction of chewing many gums- you might face symptoms of raised heart rate, sweating and restlessness. you should start tapering down. ideally take 3 gums in 8 hours span.
