A:Not completely. It’s just that VR is always on (by default ) which should not be an issue for a zoom lens. Apart from that, the lens quality is quite good. I myself am using with D5200. Go for it 👍🏻

A:no it's max is 300mm but as we use it on crop frame camera it's more than 300 (according to theories).
