1. You can expect very sharp photos in all the range (18 to 105 mm).
2. A must have lens in your kit.
3. I have taken many shots, all have good sharpnes, i prefer this for taking the landscape photos.
4. I am very much satisfied with the performance.

A very good one-for-all lens
A very good buy for someone who don't want to change your lens frequently...though I would recommend the 18-200 over this for being one of the best one-for-all, the price is too high for me :(, as of now. Defintely worth dishing out that extra money over your 18-55, so go for the body only and this lens. But know that DSLR photography is all about changing lens :), so do get a prime and telephoto later as and when your wallet permits.

Good over-all lens
I got this lens bundled with my Nikon D90. Been 3 months now, and I've shot extensively with it.
It is a good over-all lens. It gives you good reach on the telephoto end and the wide end is good too.
My only gripe with the lens is it's sharpness. The pictures need sharpening on Photoshop to get a nice, sharp picture.
Other than that, there is high amount of vignetting in the telephoto regions.
These are all. Otherwise a very good one-for-all lens!

Fantastic Lens
Sharp, Responsive and really great on-ground. Though I was upgrading from a 6 year old Sigma lens, this lens is amazing. If you love to shoot quick and in low-light conditions do try this lens.

Excellent lens. Brightness and sharpness are way better than kit lens. Impressive pics. No distortion in fully zoomed pics. Best companion for my D5600.

this baby is truly amazing awesome and mind blowing !! go for it ...worth buying..but the price could have been a bit cheaper overall its a great all in one lens. every type of photography will be covered.! telephoto to macro ..however you dont get a very close up view but ya it is decent. If you are an amateur photographer..then this is a great lens to start with !!

A good genral purpose lens.
This piece of glass came bundled with the D-90. Its been a little over three months since I bought the camera. I love this lens. The range offered suffices for most of my photographic needs, rarely do I find myself short of the focal length. For a consumer lens, the quality is good, though it feels a bit plasticy at times.
My only grouse with it is the AF hunts sometimes at the longer focal and also vignetting is pronounced at higher focal. Also the lens is a bit slow, but that's not really ...
