To all the persons (students and teachers) using this book. It is with great pleasure I write this to introduce Dr Mythri Sharan and her book ”Obstetrics and Gynaecology – DNB Topic wise Question Bank”. The only justification for this invite to write a foreword to this excellent book is I have known Dr Mythri Sharan as a postgraduate student in our institution pursuing a Secondary DNB (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) degree. She had finished her DGO from Manipal University, securing the highest marks, and was awarded the Dr K S Subbalaxmi Memorial Award. She also cleared her DNB course with flying colours. Appearing and passing exams is indeed a difficult task for postgraduate students. There are many tools for studying, and a comprehensive question bank is one of them. Dr Mythri Sharan was a very intelligent and hardworking student. She also helped her peers and juniors by teaching and guiding them. Though there were many question papers of the previous years she realized the absence of a topic-wise question bank and decided to compile one.
