Author Info
Grew up listening to Qawwalis and Ghazals,
Aditi, a 15 year old rebellious teenager is known as the "poet friend" amongst her friend group to which she denies always. "The idea of writing a book seemed to be something i could never do but you know like they say, expect the unexpected." she says. She writes mostly about death and wonders why people fear what has been told to us since we were born. Self criticism is what makes her better, she suggests. She writes about her lost grandmother who had a huge impact on her during the years of mourning and pain. When asked what she craves for the most in life, her response is always freedom. Her poems, which seem beyond her years of learning, are just a true insight of life. She's most fond of the islamic culture and literature. She envies people who are fluent in urdu.
Currently studying psychology, her passion is expressed through the amount of knowledge she has about the subject. Practical over theory is what she believes.
Passionate and bold enough, she wishes the world to see her truer self through her book, October.
