About Ajahn Brahm

The author of this book, Ajahn Brahm, is also a well-known monk who is currently the head of Bodhinyana Monastery, Serpentine, Western Australia.

Apart from this book, Ajahn Brahm has also published few other books. Some of the other books published by the author include Opening The Door Of Your Heart, Mindfulness, Bliss and Beyond: A Meditator’s Handbook, and The Art of Disappearing: The Buddha’s Path To Lasting Joy.

Born Peter Betts, the author completed his schooling from Latymer Upper School. Following that, he completed his graduation from Cambridge University, studying Theoretical Physics. After completing his degree, he served as a high school teacher for one year. He then left for Thailand with the passion to become a monk.
