"Nirmalji's first collection of poems is Parispand in which noted litterateur Azhar Hashmi says that these poems create the world of sandalwood and the visionary journalist Prakash Hindustani believes that these poems have freshness and fragrance, beauty and sanskar. There are 144 poems inclusive of Muktak having different tastes. The variety of subjects, the perception of emotions, and their captivating presentation, seem to pass through as if the invisible warm sunshine is slowly descending from the womb of the sky to the earth, creating a golden world. In this compilation, his passion is at its peak. After traveling all the places, he returns to his homeland Harda in the end, and invites. Author Info
    • "The immortal body of an alphabet, was born on 26 July 1954 in Harda, a town on the banks of the holy river Narmada in Madhya Pradesh, Nirmal Upadhyay was the second of his six siblings. His father was a teacher, his mother a housewife, grandfather a poet of Hindi and Urdu, and grandmother was the fearless and self-respecting parent of the family who raised all her grandchildren and taught them that life is a struggle and fate does not make you, your deeds create your destiny. With the help of learnings from his grandmother, Nirmal grew up in midst of all the adversities. He completed his early education at Harda School and College and did his post-graduation in Political Science from Hamidia College, Bhopal. In his student days, he participated in many university-level debates and speech competitions and was always victorious. He cleared the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission exams successfully in his first attempt. It was from here that his administrative services journey began, which ended when he retired from the post of Additional District Magistrate. During his successful service, he created many models of public service. His passion for writing and literary creation continued, even though most of his creations were published much later after his retirement. At the core of his writings were the culture and literary background given to him by his grandfather, his own vocation, and above all the blessings and guidance of his mentor, the eminent litterateur, and culturalism “Acharya Shri Vidyanivas Mishra”. Living beyond aspiration and expectation, he lived a life dedicated to literary creation and his works have images of this dedication. Many of his works are still pending publication. He left the physical body untimely and accidentally in April 2021 but he is present in our creation in the form of ‘Akshar Deh’ and history is a testimony that the body is always mortal but the impermanence of ‘Akshar’ has not been challenged till date. Therefore Nirmal is Immortal and is beyond the existence of the body. His existence is in his writing which is in the present and shall always be there in the future as well. "
