About Swami Rama

Swami Rama was an Indian yogi and the founder of the Himalayan Institute. Born in India, he completed his education from both India and Europe. He received his spiritual training in the Himalayan cave monasteries and in Tibet. Rama was examined by scientists, who studied his ability to voluntarily control bodily processes like heartbeat, blood pressure, and body temperature. Some of the other books authored by him include Enlightenment Without God, The Science of Breath: A Practical Guide and Freedom from the Bondage of Karma.
