Use the Philips Hue dimmer switch as a remote to conveniently dim your favorite light setting up and down from afar. This switch runs on battery and does not need wire installation. Fix it on a wall or keep it on your bedside table, you can place this switch anywhere to dim your Philips Hue lights.
Control the lights at home and create the right ambience directly from your smart device. You can add up to 50 light points and luminaries, and up to 12 switches and accessories to the bridge. Power them and add them to your smart lighting system via the Philips Hue app.
First, screw the bulbs into your existing light fittings and turn on the switches if you already have a Hue starter kit. The second step is to plug in and connect your bridge to the Wi-Fi router using the cable network provided. When the three lights come on, you're good to go. The final step is to download the Philips Hue app from the App Store or from Google Play Store. Then, connect the bridge to the app to control your lights.
The Philips Hue is compatible with a host of devices such as Amazon Echo (Alexa), Apple HomeKit, the Google Assistant, IFTTT, Nest, and Logitech Harmony. Virtual assistants like Alexa, Apple HomeKit or Siri, and the Google Assistant let you control the lights using your voice. IFTTT gives you instant updates when something happens with any of your personal light settings.
Hue lights mimic the effect of the rising sun by gradually increasing their brightness, so you wake up in a natural way.
Choose from the multiple lighting options, to adjust the brightness of the lights for different tasks like reading, exercising, or working.
The Hue app features preset light modes which let you play around with different lighting options.
Set your lights to automatically turn on or off. You can also set a preset time for the lights to turn on, so you come back to a well-lit home. The Location Aware function turns on the lights as you approach your house, so you never come home to a dark place.
Do more with the Hue app. Use it to set alarms, notifications, or reminders for yoga or to pick up the laundry.
