The speaker is a highly capable device, giving music playback output of 8 hours on a single full charge. It runs on 4 W RMS Power and delivers in terms of sound quality as well. All it needs for power is a set of 4 double A batteries that can last it a long time. You can easily use it with almost all media devices that support a 3.5 mm Aux jack.
With the SBA 1710 speakers, you do not just get a high quality speaker set, you also get the Class D Digital Amplifier along with it. This built-in amplifier greatly enhances the inherent sound quality of the device.
The speakers come with a class 'D' digital amplifier that takes an analog signal and converts it into a digital signal as it amplifies the signal digitally. This signal then enters the demodulation filter to give the final output. Digital output enhaces the sound quality more than conventional AB amplifiers.

Root Mean Square or RMS is a measure for audio power. This audio power is transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker in watts. The higher the watts, the finer sound power emitted by the speaker.

Value for Money Speaker
the speaker looks great and has a stand to keep your mobile in that. i gifted it to my mother and she is using a Videocon low budget handset. the sound output which i got is awesome. the sound output is nice even in large halls.

The speaker sound quality is good, output level is enough for a decent room size. The bass level is pretty good too; it doesn't distorts unless its been pitched to its higher volume. Great product design and the way your iPhone sits on the deck. The 3.5mm wire could have been a tad more bigger in length but its fine....Only the main setback is that this product runs on 4 AA bat...

I got this speaker at 1000 bucks at a discount of 60% which makes it good but when we go for it at full price without any discount, it lacks a thing or two.
but, before the cons, I'd like to point out that the audio output is pretty clear and bass is good, treble is awful but that does not bother people much as most cannot notice. its not heavy, looks good (material is good)

Doesnt work well with Samsung phones.
Only one drawback, its not going well with Samsung phones...Nokia is really giving good sound with this.
This is not able to increase the volume of Samsung Phones.
Also there is no Volume button on the speaker, it depends on Phone volume only.

reliable and worthy product for its price range
the audio output for its size and its use indoor is very clear (effect of bass depends the audio compressions format)
P.S.: almost forgot to mention that the warrenty is 1 year., had to confirm with flipkart customer support as it was not available on the flipkart webportal.

could have been better

Price worth the performance
The sound does stutter sometimes at peak volumes though overall sound fidelity is good
One definite minus is the botheration of having to take the batteries out every now and then for charging them. Another minus is the absence of volume control on the device.
But the product is definitely value for the price.
