About the Authors
Muhammad Ali Mazidi holds Master's degrees from both Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas and is presently a.b.d. on his Ph.D. in the Electrical Engineering Department. He is the co-author of a widely used textbook, IBM PC and Compatible Computers. He also teaches microprocessor-based system design at the DeVry University in Texas.
Ronlin McKinlay is presently working on his Master’s degree and PE license in Texas. He is self-employed programmer and circuit board designer, and he is also a partner in MicroDigitalEd.com.
Danny Causey is a graduate from the CET department from the De Vry University. His areas of interest include networking, microcontroller, and embedded system design.

A good book for a beginner.
This book has both the assembly and C language programming so a good package.
Many examples with the topics covered and all the topics are clearly explained and the review questions are a good help for us .

Service was great, textbook is great, but the quality of the paper in the book was horrible.
I was expecting a great product - on par with the ones i would get off the shelf in the nearest book-store, but i was in for a disappointment. I'm not sure if the publisher itself provides poor quality books for on-line customers!!

This book claims to be based on PIC18 family however it misses one major topic - USB and its interfacing. This was a major setback for me as I needed some more information on it.
Also, the content at some-places is directly copied from the datasheets.
