Our rose petals begin their journey in the rose farms of Pushkar and Kannauj, where the air smells sweet and the soil is perfect for growing fragrant desi gulab (Indian roses). Early in the morning — before the sun gets too hot — farmers gently hand-pick the roses while they’re still fresh and full of fragrance. The petals are separated carefully so they don’t bruise or lose their natural oils. Instead of using machines or artificial dryers, we sun-dry the petals naturally.
