Summary of the Book
In India, Political Theory is largely considered to be an esoteric subject, unimportant to the masses or to their problems. In this book, the author discusses how political theory is very important to the burning issues prevalent in our country. He discusses the practises which have originated due to political theory and its study, and he explains how they have helped our country. He looks into the concepts of secularism, multiculturalism and socialism and what they mean for the country as a whole. He debates how ideas which have little basis in analytical study are having drastic effects on laymen who follow these ideas without question. He explores high priority issues, examining individualism, ethnocentrism, teleology, social ontology, and the object-like presence of social meanings to help readers understand the true importance of political theory and its place in this world.
