Data transfer is not possible through this device. For that, you need to connect directly to laptop inbuilt port. But connecting mouse, keyboard, etc works fine and even USB charging works fine. If data transfer was allowed, it would have been a 5 star product

This device has 4 ports and i have tested with 4 pen drive simultaneously and found all are in working condition. For now after 1 day of use i am giving it 3 star, will check for another 2 months then if i found all ok then i shall give 5 star.

A:the cable length is around 20cm. not long to be cluttered, not short to be unusable. just about perfect size can sit next to the laptop easily. posting pic for reference.
