About the Authors

Arthur R. Bergen is an American academician, electrical engineer and Professor Emeritus at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University Berkeley College of Engineering. He takes classes on Power Systems, Stability and Control Theory.
Dr. Bergen has also published several papers in the same fields, forwarding the research therein substantially.

Vijay Vittal is currently the Ira A. Fulton Chair Professor at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, Arizona State University. A graduate of B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bangalore, and Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, he completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University.
