  • Description
Delving deep into the profound realm of divine love, this work serves as a pragmatic analysis and an enlightening interpretation of Sage Narada’s timeless aphorisms. These aphorisms, seeped in mysticism and universal wisdom, have guided generations in the path of spirituality, illuminating the way for seekers of truth and divinity. This exploration is not just an academic endeavor, but a journey taken hand in hand with the spiritual wisdom of this legendary sage. This interpretation is considerably influenced and inspired by the commentaries and teachings of a venerated group of scholars and spiritual guides. The profound teachings of Swami Vivekananda, known for his wisdom and deep understanding of spirituality, have guided this journey. The insights of Swami Chinmayananda, whose intellect and spiritual knowledge has been a beacon for many, have been generously reflected in these interpretations. The divine teachings of Swami Mukundananda and Swami Sivananda, both known for their spiritual profundity and enlightened perspectives, have significantly influenced this body of work. The passionate preaching of Swami Vishwananda has inspired me to rigorously pursue the Bhakti Marga. The combined wisdom of these spiritual luminaries has helped to illuminate the core essence of Sage Narada’s aphorisms, providing a deeper understanding of the divine love that he expounded. I humbly offer my prayers and profound respect to all these revered teachers, who have been the guiding lights in my spiritual voyage. I express my deepest gratitude to the master of all saints, Shri Narada Muni. His spiritual wisdom has been a guide, a friend, and a lantern in the darkest moments of self-doubt and spiritual uncertainty. With a heart full of devotion, I then direct my prayers and obeisance to Jagad Guru, Shri Krishna and the epitome of divine love, Shrimati Radha Rani. It is Their grace, Their divine love, that acts as the omnipresent, infallible guide. Without Their boundless compassion and wisdom, none of us would have been capable of teaching or practicing the divine path of Bhakti Yoga, a path that elevates us from our earthly existence towards a realm of absolute divinity and spiritual enlightenment. There are countless elevated souls that I am indebted to and am grateful to, for shaping me and getting me on the path of Bhakti Yoga.

    • I am krsnadaasa, a servant of Krishna and I welcome you all to this wonderful spiritual journey through the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. If it matters, my given name is Vinayak Raghuvamshi I am not a Saint or a Swami. I am just a humble practical minded devotee who has spent over 20 years studying, analyzing and applying the principles taught in the Bhagavad Gita. In 2017 I published a book about the actionable items extracted from the Bhagavad Gita. It was well received by the general population and many of them wanted me dive deeper into the Gita and explain the practical aspects in simpler terms. I also conduct Bhagavad Gita classes free of cost for ordinary people and occasionally record my teachings for students who are not able to attend some of the sessions. I received feedback that the recordings were extremely helpful as they were able to play it repeatedly at the time of their convenience and found it very engaging and enlightening. That is what prompted me to start this podcast series and I hope that it helps everyone similarly. I was fortunate to have been born in a family of book lovers. I have spent most of my childhood surrounded by books, mostly pertaining to philosophy, spirituality, literature and science. No matter how many books I read, the concept of God proved to be the most difficult to comprehend. There were so many questions in my mind and so few answers. Is God a person or just a force? Does God really care about me? Why does God let bad things happen to good people? Why do some people get success easily while others seem to struggle? Does it have anything to do with their God connection? Am I free to live life like I wish or does God control every aspect of it? And many more…
