It's perfect for family of 3-4.... Smaller one can cook 1cup of rice, it's perfect for cooking Dal.. . Bigger one can cook 2 to 2.5 cup of rice ... Overall it's the best cooker I have seen...I hav been using dis from almost 15 days... Till now there is no problem like linkage or something... can go for it if u r looking for small cookers

2L one will be used for cooking rice for 2 members. I don't see any other usages for 2L one.
3L and 5L are enough for 3-4 members in a family.

The 2 and 3 lite cooker will have same lid, so these two can't be used at the same time. This cooker set is good enough for a family of four with moderate rice consumption. Overall a good product to buy.
