About Dr Braja M. Das

Dr Das completed his PhD at the University of Wisconsin, in Geotechnical Engineering. His areas of expertise and interests are shallow foundations, geosynthetics and earth anchors. He has been honoured with many awards, including the AMOCO Foundation Award, AT&T Award for Teaching Excellence and the Ralph Teetor Award among many others. He has also authored numerous textbooks based on the subject including Fundamentals of Geotechnical Engineering, Principles of Foundation Engineering, Earth Anchors, Advanced Soil Mechanics and Advanced Soil Mechanics among many other works.
