Anwesa Das made her debut as an author in 2024 with her first poetry collection, ‘Orphic Poesie’. At sixteen years old, she is currently a student at OPG World School in New Delhi, India. Anwesa's journey into poetry began with an earnest passion for creative expression and personal freedom, which sparked her initial compositions. Born in Mumbai and now residing in New Delhi, she has deep family roots in Cuttack, Odisha, exposing her to a diverse array of cultures and languages from a young age. Anwesa's early independence and her unwavering dedication to creativity and writing have propelled her to this stage as an author, choosing poetry as her primary medium to convey thoughts and experiences in a uniquely artistic manner. Beyond writing, Anwesa is also an accomplished pianist, seamlessly blending her creative talents in both music and literature.
