Usages of Computers are everywhere! Knowledge of computers gives you more confidence to work anywhere. It gives me an immense pleasure in presenting the first book titled “Computer Science” suitable for all II PUC computer science students who belongs to Karnataka state syllabus. This book is designed as a text book to fulfill the requirements of all Computer Science students who opted computer science as a major subject in PUC level. It is an overview of what is possible with a computer and programming languages like C++, DATA STRUCTURE, DBMS, and HTML and also this book includes practical programs which helpful to get good score in practical examinations. In this book, students can also learn hardware components, Boolean expressions and logic circuits which is useful to assemble a computer. My main ambition is to make all II PUC Computer Science Students more confident after reading this book. Computer Science is not a subject just to pass in exams, because today’s life is not possible without being savvy with computers. This book places strong emphasis on examples and aspects are written in an easily understandable manner. The previous year public and supplementary questions (from 2015 to 2020) at the end of each chapter, helps all the readers to self-test their knowledge. I firmly and sincerely believe that the knowledge contained in this book shall be extremely useful and shall be retained for the rest of the life.
