    • The Unknown Artist Mohammad Rahat Raees Khan is a young boy completing his secondary education. Born and brought up in Kanpur, a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Since his childhood he's been someone who experiences the various events of life with utmost senstivity and puts forward his vulnerability through words. Rahat's artistic nature and his love and respect for people who see this world with eyes like his and hearts filled with purity made his interest grow keen in Jaun Elia at an early age of 12. He is an ardent lover of Urdu poetry and believes that it is Urdu poetry that brings out the true emotions of people in words and for him Jaun Elia is the epitome in it! One of Rahat's beautiful creation goes like this- Maine tere saath ek duniya basaana chaha tha, Jalti dhoop mein tera saaya banna chaha tha, Tere aankhon se aasoon behne tak toh baat thik thi, Maine tere saath ashq bahana chaha tha! Tere zehen mein jo adhure khwab the jinhe tune sabse judaa rakha, Maine wo haqeeqat ban ke tujhe dikhana chaha tha! Sehri se jo tere labon pe sabr ki pyaas thi, Iftaar mein maine wo paani banna chaha tha! Hawaon mein teri bikhri hui zulfon ko, Maine apne haathon suljhaana chaha tha! Aisa kya gunah tha ke meri khwahishati zindagi se ek mukhtalif duniya ban gyi, Teri aankhon ki jagah meri zindagi mein andhera hai, Tere khwabon ki jagah tujhe dekhne ki khwahish hai, Tere labon ki jagah tujhe choomne ki pyaas hai, Teri zulfon ki jagah meri zindagi bikhri hai! Sb haar kar bhi tujhe kabhi yesb na batana chaha tha, Maine tere saath ek duniya basana chaha tha! Rahat is somebody who does not very openly expresses himself and his emotions but it is his words that help us to learn more and more about the young artist. He is in an early stage of his life yet the intensity of emotions he feels at times wears him down. He's an old school boy with a vintage heart filled with love as pure as someone could imagine and writes often about how his love for his dear ones stops him from going on to the edge. Below he explains about how he gets stuck in a maze with all his love and the expectations that arise from it! Everybody in this world has some reason which keeps them going on and shapes them the way they are and for Rahat it is love. Love for his loved ones which makes him today what he is. It is love which has brought moments of despair in his life which have certainly left their footprints on his soul and yet the only thing for which he continues to go on is love. He has not done some great work or has any such achievement but his loved ones know that his will and strength is his biggest achievement, the way he continues to love people with all his heart makes him worthy of all appreciations and love in this world. This is his first book and also his first step in exploring himself and telling the world how he feels through some of the greatest artists this world could have witnessed and adding his little piece of work to express and unveil the real Rahat Raees Khan to the world!
