Starring the charismatic 14-time Filmfare Award-winner Shah Rukh Khan of Om Shanti Om fame, Filmfare Award-winner Anushka Sharma and Vinay Pathak, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi tells the story of an ordinary, kind-hearted and honest man named Surinder who marries Taani, a beautiful woman, after the latter’s fiance dies in an unfortunate accident and her father requests that Surinder tie the knot with Taani on his deathbed. With the onset of a forced matrimony and the shadow of tragedy hanging prominently in Taani’s past, she finds herself not able to love Surinder despite his attempts to sway her. However, when Taani decides to pursue her passion for dancing by entering a dancing competition, Surinder goes through a makeover, physically and attitude-wise, to impress Taani by entering the contest himself and impressing her.
