This book stands as a heartfelt tribute to Udbhavi’s favourite season and also her beloved mother, Renu, affectionately known as “Rain”. Udbhavi Upadhyay is a 28-year-old Indian poet, a trained screenwriter, and a professional photographer. She has graduated from renowned institutes like Whistling Woods, Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Emerald Heights International School. She has written and directed 2 documentaries and 3 short films, which have been screened by local as well as some international film festivals. Her pilot screenplay was also recently placed in The Script Lab's Annual Screenplay Contest.
Growing up under the influence of her father, an acclaimed wildlife photographer, Udbhavi's point of view on life has been shaped by the wonders of nature. This profound connection resonates in her poetry, imbuing her verses with a sense of awe and reverence.
When she is not in the realm of words, Udbhavi's Sundays come alive with the rhythm of dance, or in the discovery of new Hip-Hop artists. Being a nomadic soul, Udbhavi is on a spree to explore the world though her heart yearns for only one place; home (wherever her mother is!).
