An Epic Retelling in 176 pages
My brother-in-law bought this book on Flipkart and I picked it up from his Library yesterday when I visited my in-laws.
Even though I was familiar with Ramayana ( who is not :-)?), this condensed version from R.K. Narayan kept me engrossed and I completed the book in one sitting, in less than 5 hours flat.. This book has an universal appeal and does not dilute the original essence of Kamba( Tamil Poet from 11th Century?)'s epic retelling of the timeless classic.
Highly recommended.Go buy y...

Timely delivery but No Bookmarks included. WTH! PLz correct this in future orders
The book is good, but this little thing irked me the most. Not including bookmarks has lessened my joy of getting the book. Is it some kind of a cost cutting gimmick?

few basic things are missing in the story.. like when laxman leaves sita in her command to help ram in panchavati forest he armours the house with laxmana rekha for the protection of sita.. i think this is one of the basics in the story of ramayana
