Too big to be used in a medium/small aquarium, mine is a 1ft x 2ft and still find the suction part of this too big. Suction is too strong - it empties my tank by half in less than 2 minutes. I realise, by the time I clean one spot, half tank is already emptied. Since I do only 15% water change in a week I have to put all that water back. The pipes appear to be very delicate and prone to breakage, yet to find out more. I wish they had given a tap/controller to reduce the flow this way it would...
